As we wind down the calendar toward the end of 2025, the team here at Birdie Books would like to take a moment to say how grateful we are to be a part of such a vibrant community. From our usual delivery folks (hi Sean, Richard & Adam!) and our regular patrons (you know who you are!) to the people who just stop in to “see what this place is about” – every person who enters our bookshop makes each day more brilliant for us. 

So, to all of you, thank you for ordering curbside pickup during our expansion. Thank you for making dates with your loved ones to come in the new front door for the first time. Thank you for coming in to talk about the book you just finished, or for helping another customer figure out what book they’re trying to remember. Thank you for reading this newsletter, for sharing our space with your friends, and for being so kind to all of us booksellers. You make every day merry and bright!
